Dan Potter has been the Band Director at St. Ambrose, St. Simon the Apostle,

St. Roch’s and St. Martin of Tours, St. Charles Borromeo , St. Joan of Arc, and 

St. Ann of Normandy Elementary Schools and Rosary High School in the St. Louis area, 

as well as Holy Cross Lutheran Elementary, Calvary Lutheran Elementary, 

and Lutheran High School in the Kansas City area.  He also served

as Musical Director for Carnival Cruise Lines for 3 years.  Currently a professional 

trombonist in the St. Louis area performing with the Bob Kuban Brass, Fabulous Motown Revue, 

Galaxy, Norm Ruebling Band and other local groups.  Mr. Potter has also performed with 

many internationally known artists including:  Maynard Ferguson, The Moody Blues, 

Aretha Franklin, Barry Manilow, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Dionne Warwick, 

Martha Reeves, Mary Wilson, Louise Mandrell, Lou Rawls, Tommy Tune, Jack Jones, 

Joel Grey, Donald O'Connor, Danny Ganz, Clark Terry, Jon Faddis, Bobby Shew, 

Louis Bellson, Rob McConnell, Toshiko Akiyosha/Lew Tabackin, Nick Brignoli, 

The Drifters, Lou Christie, The Boxtops, and even Chari Lewis and Lambchop!

He resides in St. Louis with his wife, Carol, and is a St. Louis Cardinals Ticket Seller.
